It doesn't say it hurts you, I imagine it just makes creepy things happen around your house like opening doors and creepy noises, so I imagine that you'd get used to it after awhile.

It doesn't specify which type of demon that would haunt you. It could be one that jumpscares you at inconvenient moments or it could be a girl who died in 1890 but was coincidentally, your type. Who knows?
