Wait, this would create a third gender! Humans have different chromosomes in their cells, and there also are the x and y chromosomes. Female humans have 2 x chromosomes and male humans have 1 x and 1 y chromosomes. So there was no possibility of having a k...[Show full comment]
what happens if someone has yy chromosomes? a new sex?

I think the child needs at least one X chromosome. If an X chromosome in the mother doesn’t end up in an egg and the father’s sperm has a Y chromosome, then the child will not survive long, assuming it makes it to birth. As for two Ys? The formation might ...[Show full comment]
That would definitely make males susceptible to pregnancy... No thanks. I don't want to have the same, "It's your body" talk with my son that I'd give to my daughter.
you know the downside thing has to be on the right side not the other way

I'm stuck here. As a gay person, I feel inclined to say yes but I would never want my children to be hated. As an activist, I think this could eventually be resolved but regardless. I"d rather adopt if they"re going to be hated which is why I will not press the button.
