if it was the future and lifespans on a regular basis were 500 years, that would then mean that you would still have a long life, but if it was 200 years in the past a total lifespan of around 50-60 years old would then kill you.

If I would otherwise die around life expectancy for a man that would give me like 5 years if I loose 30. If I had a much healthier lifestyle and would live to 100 if I didn't push the button or have an accident then maybe.
