if it was the future and lifespans on a regular basis were 500 years, that would then mean that you would still have a long life, but if it was 200 years in the past a total lifespan of around 50-60 years old would then kill you.

It"s hard enough to run a town or city, let alone a country or the world. Look at Obama, yeah he was a shit president but the job aged him like 20 years! subtracting 30 years from my life would be a death sentence! I"d die from stress! So hell no!
