Record it, they are not looking WHEN you are doing it. So, if it only works WHEN no one is looking, it doesn't mean they can't witness it since this question is it won't work with people around, and no one is around, record it, and you can show it to people.

fusion happening at room temperature. normally takes superheating and is limited where/when can be done. if it ever is gotten to work reliably, we can make laser rifles and star wars style weapons.
