paradox you prevent world war 2 which would prevent this question from being made so you never hit the button causing you to have never gone back in time, and you would be to dead to stop the paradox in it"s tracks like you could in the grandfather paradox

There US a paradox of impossibility. Because you stopped the War, you were never born. But if you were never born, you wouldnt have timetraveled to stop the war, thus the war happens. Its really just wasting your life for nothing

if WWII hadn't happened then there's a good chance the world would have jumped straight into a capitalism vs communism war. which likely would have been far more costly. because WWII happened we ended up in a cold war instead.

think about it. You go back in time to save them all but then you will never be born thus technically when it comes down to it world war 2 will still happen because you were never born to go back in time to stop it.... not worth it
