Smell is more useful. You need it to know how clean things are, if you smell okay, smell also alerts you to danger like fire, chemicals, rot, etc. Plus I already get a nice tingly feeling when I smell my favourite scents.

Downside outweighs the silly upside. This is probably referring to ASMR, so that already exists. And the smell of some foods can already be pleasurable, I wouldn't give up my sense of smell for most things.

The reason I didn't press was actually the upside. I mean, that sounds great, but if you think about it; I think that there"s always someone whispering on earth and since this basically describes orgasm, it would hurt after a few minutes.
