Literally just keep the time stopping and dont use it for crime. Theres no reason not to take it if you can use it at will. You can just save it for cases when for example your mug falls and youre not fast enough to catch it.

To be honest I'm so boring that the only thing I would stop time for is to get more sleep or do work that I was too busy procrastinating to do earlier. And it would all be in my room, where there are no hidden cameras or other people, so it"s whatever.
