You don't want to know when you'll die? If it was know *how* I'm going to die I would reconsider, but knowing when gives you time to prepare for that day. Plus now you know that no matter what you do, you won't die until that day. How"s that for an upside?

Yeah but you can still get injured. Going to war, even with you knowing you won't die, could still give you injuries or leave you handicapped.

So if I know the date of my death, that means nothing else before then will kill me. Does this mean that I don't have to fear death until that day comes? Because that would be awesome.

Why does everybody assume that pressing this button ends up getting you killed by a car crash or injury? Do people not know you can die of old age? You could die 50 years from pressing this button.

It’s worse knowing when you are going to die than not knowing. Because if you don’t know you can still live a good life instead of knowing you don’t have long left and wasting your life
