"Can" is a very useful word, if you pay attention (Unless you're drunk, then you just screwed yourself) you can use it as a last resort, or escape society, if you think about it. What i'm saying is, you CAN shapeshift, if you don't, you stay a human.

Alright. Simple. Just have my resting, natural form be exactly like a human except have a mutation that makes me able to shapeshift. So technically I'm not human, but I'm also exactly like a human. So I can still breed and whatnot whenever I'm ready for children. If Loki can do it, I can do it too!
