If there’s nothing after death, then I’d be happy with immortality would be great. Sure eventually you’d just be floating in space without a thing to do, and assuming no one else was offered this deal you’d be all alone, but at least it’d be something.

Pay for cryogenics or whatever, put the one you love in stasis, hire people to do research on you, find what is making you immortal, develop a way to transfer immortality to your lover, unfreeze him/her, live both your lives as immortals? (May take a long time but, hey it IS a potential loophole).
