It didn't say "You save the world forever" it only said you saved it. If the world runs into danger again, it was saved back then, but it must be saved again.

The world isn't doomed if you don't press it. Either way life will go on as normal but if you press it you'll have to not be conceited about it whereas if you don't you won't act like a pompous asshole.
