Doesn't specify which colourblind. A lot of colourblindness makes you see DIFFERENT colours, not no colours.

If everyone else is colorblind, then current normal sight would be seeing hundreds of colors no other humans can. There"s no benefit to you, just a downside for everyone else. Or am I just overthinking this?

Colorblind doesn't mean you don't see color, or that you only see black and white. A lot of the time it just means color is percieved differently, such as mixing up blues and greens. And most pill bottles are printed in black and white anyway. The high contrast wouldn't be difficult to read.

There are actually people who see numbers in special colors and if they hear a sound, sometimes they'll see a shape of color in front of them...It's called synesthesia.
