Technically, this would be what happens, because you can only see because light hits your eyes. If you were invisible, light wouldn't hit your eyes, it would just go through them, as you would translucent. So you would be blind.

You get an ability that is useful that you don't have to use. You could feel your way around or memerise the floor plan and go in that way. You could even go invisible for a few seconds and just walk in one direction to avoid someone. No reason not to press.
