What kind or mind reading would it be? Could I see through other people's eyes? Or would I just hear people's auditory thoughts? Either way the answer is yes, but the yes is more obvious in one case.

Technically, since everyone has a sensory function in their brain, you could construct your surroundings in your own brain through the visual sensations that others have. Just either be in highly populated areas or bring a trained pet.
