It doesn't say when they'll die. They're going to die eventually, but not necessarily right away.

Even making one third-world country a developed nation is problematic at best. And on top of that, most modern 3rd world countries are the way they are because of some stupid shit they did in the past. They should be thankful for any outside aid they get.

I fail to see what is wrong with this. Instead of dying of starvation or disease, a third world country thrives, and we loose some of the Earth's population, which is already populated too much anyhow.
