so you basically give me immortality, but without the mind-numbing "everyone i ever loved is dead" downside? you can live forever, as a brand new person every 100 years, never remembering past embarrassment or heartbreak? yes.

The downside actually makes it better. You would forget your dead family members and friends so you don't have to feel sad, and you can inform your friends like: "Hey man, I'm gonna forget who you are tomorrow. Got it?"

Eventually you would get used to it. Plus, immortal is not the same as invulnerable. If your body collapses what happens? And the end of the universe should be the doom of even an immortal being.

I don't want to be immortal in general. The thought of the world ending as we know it horrifies me, and I don't want to be around when that happens.
