The button must be pushed, if they were to make it so the button wasn't pressed then time travel wouldn't have been invented so they couldn't have gone back in time to stop me from pushing the button

Thats not how it works, you've created a paradox, if you press it, people stop you from pressing it but then time travel isn't invented so nobody can stop you from pressing the button and it loops like that

In the fixed timeline model that won't work. We know the dynamic timeline model is wrong. In the alternate timeline model they would just stop me from pressing it in an alternate reality, so I could still use it. There's no paradox.
