If i can see the future i can actually change it by doing different things, like winning the lottery, using the money to invest in the right things and make things go as i want. Sure the biggest picture will maybe not change much but i still can make things better for me and the one i care most.

If you can see the future, you witness bad things before they happen. That"s kinda the point. So the downside is just a restatement of the upside with the added condition that I cannot change the future, which is stupid because I can once I have seen (witnessed) it
