I mean one eye is blind they don't say for how long because when some people throw a stun grenade the light will be blind you for a second so that means you are temporary blind

I'd do it. Only downside? No depth perception. I could also fake being blind to get out of trouble.

People with a single working eye still have depth perception... They can't see the 3d part in 3d movies, but usually (always) this part resumes itself to the subtitles
