I need social networking, also I would probably go crazy with no family or friends with that much power. And before you say omnipotence removes the downside, I would probably get bored of life with no challenge.

Can't you just remove the downside? Since you become god in all aspects of the word, it means that you will be able to change anything to your will, meaning no downside.
