I don't have cancer. I don't know anyone who has cancer. Curing cancer would do nothing to me personally. I would wish to cure cancer.

No downside. But the top comment has a point. If you wished for a huggable teddy bear for your female friend, their happiness would show in conversations and instead of saying What game do you want to play tonight? they might say Thanks for the teddy bear!

On each continent (Australia is a continent now by the way) 5 caves will be placed that lead to another universe (including fictional ones),. I will seek these caves to enter another universe and become a shape-shifter (non perfect form of omnifarious).

really? Any wish would ether directly or indirectly effect you. just knowing you"ve made a wish effects you. also some people would make huge world changing wishes like curing cancer but that would put so many people out of a job. what i would do is charge to use my wishes on other people.
