If you lose your sense of smell, you will also lose most of your sense of taste. If you hold your nose (or just not breathe) while eating something, won't taste as much flavor.

My eyesight is terrible but my sense of smell is really good. Might as well switch it up. I'd rather be able to see better than smell and, as for the loss of taste, it would be easier to eat healthy.
