You realize there is no downside right? It's not like you don't feel pain when you drown normally, and it's not like if you touch water you feel pain, it literally just removes death. You don't lose anything else, nothing gets worse.

You would not always feel like you are drowning. Only when you would have been drowning is the only time you feel it, and you don't ACTUALLY feel the effects if drowning.
