you can only kill 1 person, the rules of this press the button game is that if you dont press the button nothing will happen, there will be no trolly, no tracks, no people, no nothing, and it deosnt specify that if you hit the button it flicks the lever, so it might be that you hit the 5 people

I don't do anything cause if i do i just have "done nothing" but if i change the cart course for the society i wold become someone that killed a person, not someone who saved 5.

i'm sure the guy forgot to say the only 1 person on the other track is one of your relative, that's what would make the question about ethic harder, does killing 5 peoples worth it if you save a loved one ? or would you sacrifice a loved one to save 5 strangers ?

that doesn't exactly work in this format... if I press I will not then there's no train so none of this happens. but just for fun, obviously I'm not pulling the lever and I'm leaving that other guy tied on the tracks.

How can so many people actually press the button? You can only say 5>1 if you can actually measure the worth of the things you compare... Over 50% came to the dumb conclusion of killing somebody without a real reason...

depends on how fast it"s going. for example, if it was going slow enough for me to decide, it"s going slow enough for me to untie the one guy and put it down that track.
