Don't wish for what you want, but the tool you can use to gain what you want. Want to have some badass superpowers? Wish for a superpower-generator machine-thingy and use it to get superpowers. After an hour the machine is gone, but you still have superpowers.

This is one of those button where you have to use your powers intelligently. Say... you are in some sort of imminent danger, you can wish for immortality, or something similar, and so long as the danger passes within an hour you will be okay.
