Even if you press it, you don't have to wish immediately for something, could save it for a life/death situation when you need it most. After all, most people choose themselves over others anyways.

Easy. Yes, and only wish for a platinum/diamond mine. The risk of my one wish being someone important or that I know would be low, and I could buy anything with the funds from my mine.
