There's no downside. I'll try my best to not scratch, and then on day 4 when I accidently scratch myself I'll walk out a few hundreds of thousands of dollars richer

Then wait until after you"ve just scratched all itches needed, then press it. How long is it usually between times you scratch something that you actually need to? Just get paid till then. No downside! :3
