Then I evolve it into a Butterfree and it's awesome. Plus it never it said I couldn't catch anything else, it just seems that it's the only one I had. Like a starter.

When the pokemon evolves still haves the same moves that when it was ,in this case, a caterpie. So technocally, metapod can still use tackle.
