So basically I can only speak one language a day but I can understand all languages all the time? It's like having a free super power with a annoying drawback that's only mildly frustrating

It doesn't say the language is chosen for you. So you could just choose to speak whatever language is most convenient that day. I could continue speaking English almost every day and choose to speak something else if I ever have need of it. And I could still write whatever I wanted.

gladly. Ill just sign into servers of the language i get to speak. Im assuming this also translates to typing as well. There are many times i just dont speak in a day

If you know all languages fluently then sign language is alway available so you could speak french but sign in english

I actually speak several languages, but it"s a rare day I use more than one of necessity. It would indeed prevent me from working as an interpreter, though. So the downside IS pretty steep.
