Crap! That means you will have to watch the inevitable heat death of the universe! That takes TRILLIONS of years! And then what? How long does this last? An eternity of infinite boredom! How can anyone in their right mind push this button?

Figure out how to reverse entropy in the few trillion years you have. Turn all of Andromeda into one giant Matrioshka brain network to calculate it for you. Create an empire of robots specifically for this purpose. If you still fail, well shucks it seems like the devil behind the button won.

No downside. If you are literally invulnerable then you would also be invunerable in terms of emotional damage removing the downside of emotional trauma caused by seeing all of your loved ones die.

Everyone you love will die while you live on and you will be able to do nothing about it. And eventually you will be the last living thing in the universe and have nothing and no one to keep you company

Being immortal would suck. You'd never know what the afterlife is like, all your friends and family would die, and you get stuck with all the limits of the physical world forever. No thanks.

becoming immortal just means cant die of old age and invulnerable means cant die of anything like immortal plus invincible and u need to be able to feel pain because if u hurt uself bad u might only know if u feel pain but if u are invulnerable then it won... [Show full comment]
