I don't see a downside, I mean, it says you don't HAVE to eat or drink but that doesn't mean you can't. And also, you can beat everyone in a drinking game

I took it as "you don't have to eat, but if you do, your body will have more fuel than necessary" basically meaning that not eating is the healthier option. I don't know about you, but eating is one of the more enjoyable parts of my life, so I didn't press the button.

There"s no downside One I don't have to eat( doesn't say I can't). Two I don't get drunk anymore when drinking anything alcoholic, meaning I can drink more than usual. Though keep in mind not getting drunk won't keep you from getting alcohol poisoning so be careful.
