You don't have to always use the backpack, and when you do just use it for awesome stuff like slomotion irl stuff, or jump off a cliff and then fill the backpack for a 90% slow and just fall gently to the ground and land gracefully instead of breaking your legs.

So if you just remove the item you'll be back at regular speed I guess? But how exactly slow does it mean not even noticeable slow like you become slow by 1% or less because that makes a huge difference.
