Just set the work hours really low like 3-4 hours a day. its not like people were constantly going to pokemon gyms to battle at most you'd have 2 a day and that's stretching it.

The downside is what becoming a gym leader is about, you can still visit your family because the gym isnt open 24/7 because people need their sleep. I call Fairy-Type gym. FAIRIES!!!!!!!!
