That"s the whole point of being immortal. You are happy about life because you want to make the most of it before death arrives. When you are immortal, you can't die, so you feel like there is no point of living. All beginnings come to an end.

Hell, not feeling happiness won't really be a possibility if your immortal, as you"d already be way too fucking depressed or detached from the universe to care emotionally b/c everything you knew/loved has at some point died/stopped existing.
