So that just means that for every second you feel while tine is stopped your body ages 2 seconds instead honestly if there is a school shooter id rather be able to freeze time and lose 3 minutes on my life then have a friend die

What it means is when time is frozen, you"re in your own time zone where where you will age faster than your original time zone

Nothing is forcing you to stop time, and you only age extra while using the power. If you don't want to stop time and age frequently, then just don't, and only use it to save your life. There is no downside here.
