I dont know enough to tinker around and try to create an entire universe. Only godlike, omnipotent knowledge would be able to accomplish that, otherwise, a lot of things would get pretty screwey and would take eons to get down a perfectly functioning universe. Remember, its says recreate, not edit.

what the fuck is downside lol :D i guess depends on whats on you mind, in my mind in my universe everyone is happy and if that's including me its great.. :) so for me there is not downside :)
