If I get to be a "God" with all the powers a "God" can have then I would stop the war immediatly by vanishing every weapon. And I would erase the memories of the ones blaming me for the world war, it is supposed that Gods are all-mighty beings that can do whatever they want to

If I cause world war, then humanity will destroy itself and anyone who clicked a button to gain humanity will suffer infinite pain due to suffocation so pressing this button will basically torture hundreds of thousands of people.
