I almost hit the button but then I considered... what if I teleported somewhere dangerous? The Marina Trench, the middle of a battlefield, even could be ten thousand feet in the air. I would rather go somewhere I know I'm going to rather than plan for Italy but end up in Antarctica.

in a life risking situation such as being pushed off the empire state building i could emergency teleport out wherever i might end up is probably better than where i was beforehand.
