50 years is a lot, even if you live for eternity. Imagine being stuck in an empty room (no entertainment, food, etc.) for one hour. You'll go berserk with boredom.

Why does very one want to be immortal? Seeing your kids and your significant other, your parents and your siblings, all your friends, you would see all of them die in front of your eyes. Then be forced to live with it, plus the 50 years. Sounds horrible to me.

immortality is a torture, might seem a good thing to live hundreds of years but when it becomes billions trillion quadrillion years and the earth goes to limbo and you're in eternal pain of boredom and the void of space than you'd wish to die but you wouldnt be able to thats horrible

Being immortal sucks. Everyone you care about dies around you and people will start to call you a monster or do experiments on you. That would be a really sucky existence.
