I would create the most powerful and versatile additive/subtractive synthesis music plugin ever. But I would give it the most complex and hard to use UI to the point that I would be the only person who could use it. Then I would use it to make the worlds greatest EDM sounds and sell them.

So what if the source has to be obtainable. If I care that much, I could just encrypt all the variables and pointers. I could even make it so that something in the code acts as a password to unlock, and sell support services for the software to give the password.
