That is a good point! If you travel to when a time machine is invented, and you travel to the Victorian Era or something, you can pretend you are the inventor of the time machine and alter history by being the ritchest person who ever lived because everyone would want a time machine!

At the end of my life I'll just travel to something I"ve always wanted to see. If I have a death where I'm not aware that I'm going to die soon, then I'll just use the power whenever, and when I'm done I'll just travel to a few milliseconds before the time I'm from.

This is actual science. Time travel is theoretically possible if you travel faster than the speed of light, however you can only go forward in time and you can't go back.
