I can understand how reading minds in certain situations may be useful/cool. But the downside of not choosing whos mind to read and how many would just lead to a constant disorienting feeling. And that would suck :P

Are you kidding? The Holocaust was the single most disgusting event in all of history and it took place on a national scale. If you seriously think reading someone"s mind is a more heinous crime than trying to exterminate an entire culture, you should probably rethink your "sense of morals".
