Im not being selfish, if anything im doing it for the benefit of everyone. If there was a cure, there would be overpopulation, thus killing more nature in order to build housing for them. Animals slowly go extinct from hunting, the seas become more poluted...[Show full comment]

if we are going with utilitarianism here, ending cancer will result in overpopulation which is bad. If we are not, then not pressing the button. This dilemma is actually fine, unlike others.
