Immortality could be good if you don't establish emotional connections and the pain will eventually die after you are healed, so not too bad :)

I"d rather not be immortal. Shit sucks. What will happen when your friends die? You can't die from aging, but you will still shamble to be become a zombie, then eventually a skeleton. No thank you.
