There was another button I saw almost exactly like this one and it had the same loophole. Also, the s are blank space. Each "rn" is a blank line.

Assuming time still progresses normally after using this power, there's no reason not to press it - if you accidentally break something, or make a mistake, you can just go back and be more careful. Only real downside would be a cautionary tale about living with your mistakes, I suppose.
