Don't see the downside here. I'll become such a famous scientist, I'll be rich forever. I wouldn't stop till the world ended. And I"d bring gold to another planet and become the most famous there.

I'm not interested in immortality (especially when it doesn't explicitly come with eternal health; being brain dead for eternity would be boring). That's the only downside here.
