8 to 9 hours a day is the healthy recommended amount of sleep for an adult, no downside. However school being cancelled forever would cause a lot of problems.

whoever wrote this should have been more specific. without school, we would fail as a species, but if we were able to learn indirectly without needing to work or attend school, that would make more sense
