Hey, when I was little (6-10) I had awesome lucid dreams. I could control fire or wind or diamond and I always had regeneration skills. Plus I always used my powers to defeat demon scumbags who wanted me to work for them. Ah, childhood adventures.

Immortality is different from invincibility. You'll probably die of natural causes at some point. But it did say 'forever' so you should be aware that you'd be an eight year old for all of your eternal afterlife.
