Most don't tknow it but the sense of smell is what make you feel the taste of food, the "taste" itself just make you feel sweetness, sourness, saltiness, bitterness and Acidness (plus umami, kokumi and fat, recently added), so losing smell is far worse than losing taste

Well actualy if u stay in the dark for a while ur eyes get used to it so I already can see in the dark and just get a flash light they dont cost too much so this is bad it's basically just suicide for ur sence of smell don't press
